Smithsonian Graduate Fellowship
Dr Michelle Taylor revised a genus called Thouarella at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum in Washington DC while she was a Visiting Graduate Student Fellow. Her work has helped build a database of global octocoral locations that is being used to help predict octocoral habitat in areas with little data and may be used to see what the effects of climate change will be on octocoral range.
